Integrated with our 35,000 cubic meter storage facility in Jingjiang (Jiangsu Province) is our 6,000 square meter blending facility. Our blending facility can produce automotive /marine crankcase lubricants, industrial lubricants, and hydraulic fluids to name but a few. Our blending facility is split into 6 zones:
With quality and accuracy of utmost importance, we employ high-precision Emerson flowmeters to measure lubricant raw materials (i.e. base oil and additives) sent to our blending kettles, monitor the progress of blending using our integrated Decision Control System (DCS), exercise stringent quality control through continual laboratory testing of products throughout the production process, and use Masterfil Asia filling lines to accurately and efficiently fill packaging. A key benefit of being an oil trading company which owns and operates its own oil terminal and blending plant is that we are able to minimize losses and contamination for our customers. This is particularly true for our contract manufacturing customers as the base oil that we import in bulk can be sent directly to our blending plant to produce finished lubricants. Other finished lubricant manufacturers usually receive their base oil from distributors. These distributors break bulk and then transport the base oil via road, waterway, or rail to the finished lubricant manufacturers. Breaking bulk and transporting base oil to a separate location normally entails losses of up to 0.05% and exposes the base oil to possible contamination. Together with our storage facility , our blending operation is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 by SGS.
